South East Steel Limited's ethos is simple, 'we want to provide the best value for money'. We ensure that all buildings are finished to a high standard and that your expectations are always exceeded.

As we are from a building (not sales) background, our pre-installation advice, Steel Building installation service and Steel Products are second to none, so when coupled with our highly competitive pricing we firmly believe that we achieve our aims.

We will not supply a building without seeing the intended site first, unlike most, and every image on our website is of a building that we have erected! Our initial advice always results in a better end result.

Please see 'what our clients say' or feel free to contact us to arrange a site survey visit.

Our suppliers provide warranties and guarantees against the products we use to construct your building, but we are also happy, in fact we reccomend, to provide a full structural report, including loading detail and professional indeminty from our structural engineers. These comprehensive reports can be provided at exceptionally competitive costs. Many of our competitors are happy not to discuss this area!

In addition to our own business goals we are very selective with our partners and suppliers. Please read the details below.

EPIC provides the latest technical information on products and projects and guidance on regulatory requirements and other issues concerning specification.

The Metal Cladding and Roofing Manufacturers Association - represents the major manufacturers in the metal roofing and cladding industry and seeks to foster and develop a better understanding amongst specifiers and end users alike of the most effective use of metal building products, components and systems.
The Steel Construction Institute (SCI) - is an independent, member-based organisation. It is probably the world's largest research and technical organization supporting the use of steel in construction.

Our Supplier Environmental Credentials

Our Suppliers recognise the need to manage the impact which our business and processes have on the environment. They believe they have a responsibility to contribute to the well-being of the communities we live in. They are committed to providing a clean, safe environment.

They will:

Meet or exceed national and local environmental and health regulations as well as regulations covering the construction industry.
Routinely incorporate an assessment of health and environmental impacts in decision making.
Work with customers and suppliers to ensure products entering and leaving Steadmans’ sites are transported and processed in environmentally safe ways.
Be open and frank with the communities within which we operate.

Supplier Sustainability

Developing sustainable construction methods presents a challenge to the whole construction industry. Our suppliers main raw material, steel, is eminently recyclable: 85 - 90% of steel from demolition goes for re-use and 40% of steel used in new construction has been recycled.

By using modern machinery and upgrading facilities our suppliers are continually reducing the impact of our products on the environment, and improving their contribution to the long-term performance of buildings.
