Steel Building Costs PDF Print E-mail

The costs of a Steel Building vary based on each and every option chosen, so it is very difficult to provide an accurate price without conducting a site survey and a full requirement document.

The main factors which will influence the price are:

1. The Groundwork
An approximate cost for the installation of a concrete slab is £67.50 plus VAT per Sq Metre, subject to a site survey.
If you would prefer to organise your own groundwork, we can supply a slab drawing for £125.00 plus VAT.

2. The Building Supply
It is impossible to provide an approximate cost for the supply of a Steel Building without knowing some basic details. The usage, size and shape of the building; the number, type and position of windows and doors; interior work such as dividing walls; cladding options and many more available options will affect the final cost of the Steel Building. For example the difference between Industrial (BS 6399) and Agricultural Class 4 could change the project price by up to 30%.

We have listed a couple of examples below to provide an indication of costs:

For a 9.0m (length) x 5.0m (span) x 2.4m (eave) / 3.0m (apex)
with 2.185m (ow) x 2.135m (oh) roller shutter door
In standard Colour Single Skin (0.5mm) Cladding
Industrial Design = £4,795.00 plus VAT

For a 18.0m (length) x 6.0m (span) x 3.0m (eave) / 3.9m (apex)
with 3.100m (ow) x 2.135m (oh) roller shutter door
In standard Colour Single Skin (0.5mm) Cladding
Agricultural Class 3 Design = £9,995.00 plus VAT

We will be able to provide indicative figures, for your bespoke steel building, if you provide some simple details (click here), but we would still need to complete a site survey prior to providing a formal proposal.

3. The Building Installation
The cost for Installation usually works out to between 30% and 40% of the Building cost plus VAT.
This figure is subject to a site survey.

Please Contact Us to arrange a site survey to discuss your requirement in greater depth.
