Building Roof Panels PDF Print E-mail

The main options available for Roofing Panels are:

Single Skin standard profile cladding:
Standard external weather sheets are available in 0.5mm and 0.7mm thicknesses.
The steel used in the these roof and wall profiles is hot-dip galvanised to BS EN 10142:2000, BS EN 10147:2000 or Aluzinc coated, then finished in one of the standard colours (here) or in any RAL colour of your choice.

Condensation Control Fleece:
Uninsulated roofs with single-skin metal sheeting are likely to suffer from condensation when the metal sheeting is     cooled during the winter, or on cold clear nights. When warm air within the building cools on contact with the metal sheeting it can not support the same quantity of water vapour and may become saturated, with any excess water vapour condensing on the underside of the sheeting, the control fleece minimises this effect.

Insulated Panels (40, 60, 80 or 100mm):
The insulated panels consist of a core of polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation sandwiched between a heavily profiled external weather sheet and an internal shallow profiled liner. The PIR insulation bonds to the steel sheets during the manufacturing process, together the insulation and steel form strong, rigid panels with good thermal performance. These are finished in one of the standard colours (here) or in any RAL colour of your choice. A full specification brochure can be downloaded here.

Clear Roof Panels:
The clear roof panel allows light in. On an insulated profile the clear panel contains vacuumed air to maintain the integrity of the insulation. The clear panels have strips of insulated foam running horizontally which allow a strong fixing point without panel compression.

Meta-Slate Finish:
Meta-Slate is manufactured from 0.7mm galvanised coil with a slate blue matt polyester paint finish to the outer surface and a grey epoxy based primer to the inside. The sheet is specially embossed with a regular slate pattern and finished to appear like natural slate. Meta-Slate is ideal for use in environmentally sensitive locations where box profile sheeting may not be acceptable to local authority planning departments. A Meta-Slate brochure can be downloaded here.
